The Green Bag is an exclusive tool, developed by Lifeword’s Pavement Project, which is utilized by partner organisations/partner churches. The methodology utilizes sets of images to broach specific problems that the children and teenagers face. It helps them to share their stories of traumas and pains, reflecting upon them in a light relaxed manner, in a safe and welcoming environment. By helping the participants self-identify with biblical persons, the Green Bag app has already had a restoring, direct impact on the lives of almost 101,000 children, teenagers, youths and adults.
Children ages 5 and older, adolescence, youth and adults who are socially vulnerable can and have been individually counselled by a Pavement Project trained worker.
How Does it Work?
In order to do counselling with the Green Bag, the interested person will participate in a training program which can be in person or online. The training prepares the participants to develop a personal, playful and transforming counselling session, always respecting the individuality and the developmental phase of the socially vulnerable child, adolescent or youth, bringing hope and healing to their lives.
if you work with at social risk children, adolescents, and youth, you are a candidate to use the Green Bag. You can be a worker, a professor, a social worker, a religious leader, etc., as long as you are recommended by your organisation.
