An encounter with Jesus that brings
healing and restoration
We are a Christian initiative responding to the trauma experienced by children in vulnerable contexts around the world.
Through a biblically based methodology, we train Educators to provide counselling and emotional and spiritual care,
helping children recover their self-worth and rediscover hope.

caring
Pavement Project trains Educators and equips partner organisations with the counselling resource known as the Green Bag. We work alongside churches and organisations that serve vulnerable children who have experienced trauma and abuse and who live in communities affected by violence and extreme vulnerability.
This includes, for example, children living on the streets, in shelters, or in foster care; those living with HIV/AIDS; those involved in armed groups; teenagers in conflict with the law; and those growing up in violent communities.
Our mission is to bring the Word of God to children in culturally relevant and appropriate ways, creating opportunities for them to encounter Jesus and experience healing and restoration.
safeguarding
Millions of children around the world suffer from depression, bullying, abuse, and maltreatment. These situations occur across all social groups and cultures.
Pavement Project helps protect them by equipping educators with workshops and practical resources that promote safe environments for children and teenagers, both in their communities and at home.
protection
Millions of children and adolescents in the world suffer from depression, bullying, abuse, and mistreatment. Such situations occur in all classes of society and in all cultures. Pavement Project acts to protect the vulnerable through workshops for educators, as well as relevant and practical content to promote a safe environment for children and teenagers. Whether in social interaction or in their home.
children’s rights
Access to information is an important step in ensuring the care and protection of children at risk. Knowing and upholding their rights is a responsibility shared by all.
As Christian organisations, our responsibility goes beyond our immediate work; it also includes engaging with public policies so that children’s rights are known and respected. To do this, we act as part of a wider network, working in partnership with institutions that promote, advocate for, and monitor actions on behalf of vulnerable children, mindful of our Christian calling to care for the little ones.
